2. First Design Iteration
Initially, I decided on a more muted colour scheme (as seen below) paired with clean graphic illustrations of Indonesian dishes. However, after talking to a few of my peers and getting feedback, I realise that this visual Identity does not effectively reflect a particular Indonesian culture. Hence, I decided to go back to the mood board and brain storm a new visual identity for my project.
3. Second Design Iteratino
After going back to the mood board I decided to try a more vibrant colour palette. I noticed that the first design iteration lacks contrast and the colour combination seemed too old school to conjure the excitement of cooking. Below is the updated design:
After sitting on it for a while and getting feedback from my supervisor and peers, I decided to go with this visual identity instead and proceed with building the high-fidelity wireframes.

4. Reflection
In hindsight, I was glad that I went the extra mile to redo the visual identity of the app as the final version is a lot more representative of my goal. below a comparison of the "Home Page".
